Letter to the Editor: Kick in the Nortonville Door Softly

HOPKINS COUNTY, KY - Thank God that I do not live in, or pay taxes in the city of Nortonville. As far as I know I do not have a criminal record, and I would hate to acquire one now, but if I lived in that corner of the county, I believe that yours truly would find himself in the Hopkins county hotel for acting a little excessive. Letter to the Editor: State Employee Raises Concerns

To Our Elected Representatives

The following are some concerns I have for myself and fellow state employees. While you look over these concerns, I would appreciate it if you remember we are the ones who take calls at all hours of the day and night. Most of the time these calls require us to leave our families in bad weather when we need to be at home, but we go anyway. Also remember we basically left our families for five months during the ice storm. We put our lives and situations on hold to do the job we had to do.

Letter to the Editor - The Things That Sustain Us

I was somewhere near the airport in Louisville this past Saturday night. It was some sort of flea market I think. It wasn’t a very impressive structure. The building seemed to be past its prime, and a little neglected, but this did not concern me in the least. I wasn’t there to take measure of the facility, but rather to watch my good friend compete for the amateur lightweight title in a local mixed martial arts competition.  He was the very last fight on the card, the main event in fact, but this is nothing new to my friend. He has been working towards this for the past three years or so, and has inevitably made a name for himself in the Kentucky ranks.
