State Offices to Close Friday for Statewide Furlough Day

HOPKINS COUNTY, KY - State offices will be closed on Friday, November 12, as part of the state’s budget balancing plan to furlough state government workers a total of six days in Fiscal Year 2011, as authorized by the 2010-12 biennial budget passed by the General Assembly.

Two Soldiers to be Laid to Rest on November 12th

HOPKINS COUNTY, KY – Governor Steve Beshear has directed that flags at all state office buildings be lowered to half-staff on Friday, Novemebr 12, 2010 in honor of two Fort Campbell soldiers who died while supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
