HOPKINS COUNTY, KY - Paul Keith Morgan, 69, of Earlington passed away at 3:45 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010, at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.
He was born Dec. 4, 1940, in Hopkins County to Venson Paul and Stella Mae Jones Morgan. He was a member of First House of God in Madisonville and worked as a coal miner at West Kentucky Coal.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Niles Robin "Kookie" Morgan; and a sister, Pauline Reynolds.
Survivors include his wife of 11 years, Guynith Henderson Morgan of Earlington; two sons, Winston Keith Morgan of Earlington and David Morgan of Madisonville; a daughter, Mellisa Lynn Morgan of Evansville; three stepdaughters, Susan Higley of Dixon, Dana Smiley of Dawson Springs and Tracy Ramey of Princeton; a brother, Carlos Morgan of Madisonville; three sisters, Lois Ann Murillo of El Paso, Texas, Faye Walters of Watseka, Ill., and Ellen Phelps of Steger, Ill.; a grandson, Derek Morgan; five stepgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services are at 4 p.m. Saturday at First House of God in Madisonville, with Brother Tommy Hayes officiating. Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Saturday at the church.
