Madisonville, KY - Kentucky State Police report a Campbellsville woman was injured in a single vehicle accident Friday afternoon in Hopkins County near Madisonville. 

State Police report 39 year old Donna Irwin was northbound on the Pennyrile Parkway, in the left hand lane, when she swerved off the left shoulder of the roadway to avoid another vehicle that was attempting to change lanes.  Ms. Irwin’s vehicle overturned when she left the roadway, before coming to final rest.  Ms. Irwin was transported to the Regional Medical Center for treatment.  The Madisonville Fire Department and Medical Center Ambulance Service assisted on the scene.
