HOPKINS COUNTY KY - The Madisonville Fire Department reports for November 16 through November 19 to include a vehicle accident on Noel and Pride:

On November 16, 2010, at 5:02 p.m., an alarm was received alarm from Central Dispatch for report of fire alarm activation at 2835 Nebo Rd, Rexam Warehouse. While enroute Central advised units it was a false alarm after contact with alarm company. Crew reduced response to non-emergency and continued out to investigate. Units arrived on scene with nothing showing, and performed 360 survey of building. Contact was made with building owner (Joe Peyton) who advised that the alarm system was supposed to be offline and was unaware of alarm activation. Building was checked for signs of heat, fire, smoke, or water flow but none were found. Scene was deemed safe and all units returned to station without incident at 5:39 p.m.

On November 17, 2010, at 12:56 p.m., an alarm was received from Central Dispatch for a vehicle accident at the intersection of Noel Avenue and Pride Avenue. Upon arrival, crew found two vehicles (Valerie Maher 1/ Phyllis White 2) involved with one occupant in a Chevy Malibu and five occupant in a Chevy Corsica. Crew member's attended to an occupant from the Malibu. Battalion 3 and F2 were on scene to assist. Medical Center Ambulance Service arrived on scene and crew members assisted with packaging of one patient. Vehicles were drivable. Scene was deemed safe and all units returned to station at 1:23 p.m.
