HOPKINS COUNTY, KY – A White Plains resident and a 1-year-old infant passenger were involved in a one-vehicle accident on Highway 62 today, on Saturday, November 20.
According to Kentucky State Trooper officials 23-year-old Tara Hall of White Plains was traveling west on Highway 62 approximately 3 miles West of Nortonville with Nathaniel Richardson when she spotted an animal of some sort entering the highway. Hall swerved to avoid the animal and lost control of the vehicle. The car, a 92 Honda Accord, struck the guardrail on the opposite side of the road.
Hall refused treatment by EMS Services at the scene. Hall was wearing a seatbelt and Richardson was properly buckled in a child seat.
Trooper Bob Winters, Medical Center EMS, and the Nortonville Southside Rescue Squad were on the scene of the accident.
