HOPKINS COUNTY, KY - The Madisonville North Hopkins and Hopkins County Central Cross Country Teams traveled to Muhlenberg County Saturday to participate in the Muhlenberg “Mustang Stampede”.
For the Girls race, Rachel Stockton led the way for the Maroons with a time of 22:51 followed by Taylor Parlow – 23:53, Autumn Robards – 25:06, Cassie Sharp – 25:35, Haley Barfield – 27:08 and Amy Quinn with 28:06. Madisonville North Girls finished in third place overall.
Olivia Stokes led the Central Storm Team with 26:00 followed by Taylor Childress – 27:30, Denesha Mason – 33:08 and Mikayla Beeny with 34:05.
Aaron Poe led the Boys from North Hopkins with a time of 19:48 followed by Alex Johnson with 19:54, Brad Frederick – 20:01, Austen Schuknecht – 20:02, Kevin Kline – 20:06, Juaron Fairrow – 20:44, freddy Martin – 21:51, Bryce Harville – 22:35, Kevin Bradshaw – 23:02 and Alex Root with 23:29.
Austin Childress led the Central Boys with an impressive 18:26 followed by Tyler Duncan with 19:37, Dakotah Hogan – 20:32, Landon Griffith – 20:46, Josh Lutz – 21:40, Nick Hopper – 21:56, Zack Clark – 23:32 and Zayne Arnett with 26:20.
The Madisonville North Boys Team finished in fourth place followed by the Hopkins Central Team with fifth place.
